Storks’ history dates back to the Dutch industrialization with the formation in 1827 of Werkspoor. In 1954 Werkspoor merged with the engineering works Gebroeders Stork & Co., founded in Hengelo in 1868. From an initial focus on heavy capital goods, Stork transformed itself into a manufacturer of lighter industrial production equipment for niche markets and a technical service provider. With numerous acquisitions and > 16,500 employees, Stork has become a world class, knowledge-based asset integrity management company dedicated to providing seamless performance to customers in the chemical, oil & gas, petrochemical and power and other major industries.
Stork operates in Australia for more than 30 years, with offices in Sydney, Perth, Kwinana, Gladstone and Brisbane. With the acquisition and subsequent consolidation of Cooperheat (1999) and iicorr (2006), Stork is currently a leading Inspection and Mechanical Services Contractor offering a range of specialist services; cathodic protection, corrosion monitoring, inspection, non-destructive testing, heat treatment services and bolt tensioning). The Pacific Region is a major growth area for Stork, with particular focus on the greenfield construction and post construction maintenance services. With the upcoming market transformation from construction towards maintenance, Stork will continue to build on their customer relationships, creating even more opportunities by leveraging and transferring the asset integrity knowledge that exists in Europe.
Stork is Asset Integrity Partner, offering a wide range of asset integrity services and seeking to enter into long term partner agreements with customers. Because the better we know our customers the more we can help them to grow their business sustainable and successfully.
